Lucas’ plan for the 6th grade is to finally become one of the cool kids who run his class. But on the first day of school, a series of accidents lands him in the first row, sitting next to the hugest geek in class, Flo, with his hornrim glasses and orthodontic braces. Suddenly Lucas is an outcast, the lowest creature on the middle-school food chain. But Lucas doesn't give up: If he can only get his killer comics published in the school newspaper, he'll be top dog again. One day he accidentally orders a strange Magical Marker from a weird Japanese website, which makes it really easy to draw his new idea for a cool school mascot. But then, the little monster comes alive and starts causing mayhem in his school! As if he didn't have enough problems being a social leper, now Lucas has to deal with a freak he created running amok in the school: His mascot Scotty.
